Abstract
This experience report describes the academic and scientific management implemented during the Academic Scientific Nursing Conference of a private college in Rio de Janeiro, held between August and December 2024. The methodology involved student participation in committees responsible for planning, organizing, and executing the event, including weekly meetings and the preparation of detailed schedules. The results showed the effective execution of the event, the strengthening of teamwork, the development of student leadership, and the expansion of practical knowledge in nursing. The challenges faced, such as time management, the absence of evaluators, and adjustments to the ceremony, were overcome through strategic planning, continuous communication, and team adaptation. It is concluded that the experience promoted significant learning, stimulated autonomy, and contributed to the critical and reflective training of students, reinforcing the role of nursing in promoting science and health education.
