We are pleased to invite you to our new special thematic issue entitled “Technologies of Healthcare: innovations, practices and contemporary challenges,” which will feature studies on healthcare work, professional knowledge and practices, the worker-user relationship, expanded clinical practice, and the ethical-political challenges of care.
Articles that meet the following criteria will be accepted for submission and peer review:
Address the proposed theme;
- Original papers with a review from the Ethics Committee;
- Original papers with publicly available data sources (e.g., DataSUS, IBGE);
- Reviews;
- Experience reports;
- Scoop and systematic review protocols;
- Reflections.

Please include a message to the editor in your submission indicating that it pertains to this thematic issue.
For submissions made until January 31, 2026, if the review is positive, the 2024 processing fee of R$ 940.00 will be charged. For submissions made from February 1, 2026 onwards, if the review is positive, the 2026 fee of R$ 1,228.00 will be charged.
The submission deadline is February 27, 2026.
