Evidence-based health, starting with the new coronavirus pandemic, had to reinvent the way research is carried out: its results need to be quickly collected so that, as soon as possible, they can be disseminated worldwide. Not only health professionals, but the population as a whole was able to experience and enjoy the results of the research carried out: from today to today, making the 'unreachable' scientists, tangible, real and visible people. In this sense, this issue of the Global Academic Nursing Journal brings an editorial that addresses the novelty of the mucosal vaccine, as well as potentialities and challenges. In addition, we can deepen our knowledge about the best practice in evidence related to the use of film for stabilization in intravenous catheters, palpable themes, as well as through themes, such as the practice of integrative therapies in the context of elderly health (mindfulness) or of health in general. Topics on the importance of health education and the use of realistic simulation emerge as important allies in reflections on the best care to be provided to the user of health services. We invite the entire scientific community to share this issue.
